On October 8, 2015, the Los Angeles Police Department’s own sworn personnel paid special recognition and their appreciation of the Department’s hard-working and dedicated civilians. The Police Administration Building’s front plaza was humming with music and plenty of free food was provided to many of our Department’s civilian personnel.
LAWPOA’s Board of Directors decided to go beyond their usual monetary contribution and added one awesome grand prize. Club Level tickets with all the extra trimmings, to an exciting evening of professional hockey, the Anaheim Ducks vs. the New York Islanders. LAWPOA, in turn, displayed their own deep-hearted appreciation for all those civilians who serve this community with unwavering dedication. This was their day and LAWPOA was proud to play a part in celebrating Civilian Appreciation Day!!
