Tenecia Sims has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Loyola Marymount University and has worked for the Los Angeles Police Department for almost 20 years, serving in various roles during her tenure. She began her career with LAPD as a Police Service Representative with the Communications Division for 14 years. In 2019 Sims promoted to Forensic Print Specialist (FPS) with the Technical Investigation Division, Latent Print Unit. In addition to her duties as an FPS she is a trainer for the ABLE Training Cadre and finds herself on various stages as a guest singer at different city celebrations and conferences. Sims is a mother of 5 children, with 2 grandchildren and pastors a church in Los Angeles with her husband. She is dedicated to building, encouraging and supporting women within law enforcement and the communities they serve.
