Support is the cornerstone of our organization. Whether that support comes in the form of promotion recognition letters or seminars for continued education and training, we focus on cultivating our law enforcement officers for the future.

We take immense pride in assisting our members any way we can and creating a culture focused on inclusion. Understanding the needs of our members and discovering what is most important to them helps us provide valuable resources to enhance their careers.

Our Approach

Our unique approach to law enforcement advocacy includes:

  • A loan program to help expectant mothers get ongoing uniform alterations

  • Comprehensive promotional examination seminars

  • The annual LAWPOA Professional Development Training Symposium

  • Mock oral interviews to prepare members for new opportunities

  • Support for the fair and equitable treatment of women

Some of these resources are available for nonmembers of LAWPOA because our reach is ever-expanding and all-inclusive.
